The current museum was founded in the 1960s as a car museum. It has gained national fame for its unique collection of wagons for transporting people, livestock and agricultural products. All carriages, carriages and wagons have done their service on Texel. In addition to these originals, there is also a large collection of very true-to-life and very skilfully built models of cars.
